| I'm Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen. I want to explain SB 1070 which I voted for and was just signed by Governor Jan Brewer. Rancher Rob Krantz was murdered by the drug cartel on his ranch a month ago. I participated in a senate hearing two weeks ago on the border violence, here is just some of the highlights from those who testified. The people who live within 60 to 80 miles of the Arizona/Mexico Border have for years been terrorized and have pleaded for help to stop the daily invasion of humans who cross their property . One Rancher testified that 300 to 1200 people a DAY come across his ranch vandalizing his property, stealing his vehicles and property, cutting down his fences, and leaving trash. In the last two years he has found 17 dead bodies and two Koran bibles. Another rancher testified that daily drugs are brought across his ranch in a military operation. A point man with a machine gun goes in front, 1/2 mile behind are the guards fully armed, 1/2 mile behind them are the drugs, behind the drugs 1/2 mile are more guards. These people are violent and they will kill anyone who gets in the way. This was not the only rancher we heard that day that talked about the drug trains. One man told of two illegal's who came upon his property one shot in the back and the other in the arm by the drug runners who had forced them to carry the drugs and then shot them. Daily they listen to gun fire during the night it is not safe to leave his family alone on the ranch and they can't leave the ranch for fear of nothing being left when they come back. The border patrol is not on the border. They have set up 60 miles away with check points that do nothing to stop the invasion. They are not allowed to use force in stopping anyone who is entering. They run around chasing them, if they get their hands on them then they can take them back across the border. Federal prisons have over 35% illegal's and 20% of Arizona prisons are filled with illegal's. In the last few years 80% of our law enforcement that have been killed or wounded have been by an illegal. The majority of people coming now are people we need to be worried about. The ranchers told us that they have seen a change in the people coming they are not just those who are looking for work and a better life. The Federal Government has refused for years to do anything to help the border states . We have been over run and once they are here we have the burden of funding state services that they use. Education cost have been over a billion dollars. The healthcare cost billions of dollars. Our State is broke, $3.5 billion deficit and we have many serious decisions to make. One is that we do not have the money to care for any who are not here legally. It has to stop. The border can be secured. We have the technology we have the ability to stop this invasion. We must know who is coming and they must come in an organized manner legally so that we can assimilate them into our population and protect the sovereignty of our country. We are a nation of laws. We have a responsibility to protect our citizens and to protect the integrity of our country and the government which we live under. I would give amnesty today to many, but here is the problem, we dare not do this until the Border is secure. It will do no good to forgive them because thousands will come behind them and we will be over run to the point that there will no longer be the United States of America but a North American Union of open borders. I ask you what form of government will we live under? How long will it be before we will be just like Mexico , Canada or any of the other Central American or South American countries? We have already lost our language, everything must be printed in Spanish also. We have already lost our history it is no longer taught in our schools. And we have lost our borders. The leftist media has distorted what SB 1070 will do. It is not going to set up a Nazi Germany . Are you kidding. The ACLU and the leftist courts will do everything to protect those who are here illegally, but it was an effort to try and stop illegal's from setting up businesses, and employment, and receiving state services and give the ability to local law enforcement when there is probable cause like a traffic stop to determine if they are here legally. Federal law is very clear if you are here on a visa you must have your papers on you at all times. That is the law. In Arizona all you need to show you are a legal citizen is a driver license, MVD identification card, Native American Card, or a Military ID. This is what you need to vote, get a hunting license, etc.. So nothing new has been added to this law. No one is going to be stopped walking down the street etc... The Socialist who are in power in DC are angry because we dare try and do something and that something the Socialist wants us to do is just let them come. They want the "Transformation" to continue. Maybe it is too late to save America . Maybe we are not worthy of freedom anymore. But as an elected official I must try to do what I can to protect our Constitutional Republic . Living in America is not a right just because you can walk across the border. Being an American is a responsibility and it comes by respecting and upholding the Constitution the law of our land which says what you must do to be a citizen of this country. Freedom is not free. |

| So you think Arizona is bad. Texas doesn't need to pass a law. They just pass the ammo. This is what could happen if you screw with a TEXAS law enforcement officer. (Too graphic to show!) Living on the border, TEXANS are all too familiar with criminals coming over from Mexican gangs. In this situation, three armed felons crossed the TEXAS sovereign border and tried to rob an off duty El Paso, police officer dressed in civilian clothes while he stood in front of a bank. Their plan was for two of them to grab his backpack and toss it to an accomplice on a stolen motorcycle. However, this well prepared El Paso Police Officer shot them ALL, managing to kill 2 immediately. The 3rd thug was shot in both arms and bled to death before help arrived. Do you realize how much this TEXAN saved the US taxpayer by not having to prosecute these worthless thugs? Arrest and detention for 1 night = -$6,000 Transportation for deportation back to Mexico the next day = -$1,000 Air time for Obama to apologize in 30 min speech = -$25,000,000 =$25,007,000 Three .45 rounds = $.75 Auction 1 slightly used but scratched motorcycle = $2,500 Taxpayer savings = $25,004,499.25 Not bad, not a bad day at all! They picked the wrong man to rob - Too bad for them all ! ... only in TEXAS!! God Bless TEXANS! THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A 911 CALL IS EIGHTEEN MINUTES. THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A .45 S&W ROUND IS ABOUT 1,225 FEET PER SECOND. |

| You know you're from Arizona if:
You can properly pronounce words like: Ajo, Tumacacori, but say Grande like Grand.
You can walk into a bar in July and get service right away
You've signed so many petitions to recall governors you can't remember the name of the incumbent.
You notice your car overheating before you drive it.
You no longer associate bridges or rivers with water.
You know a swamp cooler is not a happy hour drink.
You can hear the weather forecast of 115 degrees without flinching.

You discover, in July it only takes two fingers to drive your car, because your steering wheel is so hot.
You can make sun tea instantly.
You run your a/c in the middle of winter so you can use your fireplace. The best parking is determined by shade.....not distance.
You realize that "Valley Fever" isn't a disco dance.
Hotter water comes from the cold water tap than the hot one.
It's noon in July, kids are on summer vacation and yet all the streets are totally empty of both cars and people.
You actually burn your hand opening the car door.
Sunscreen is sold year round, kept right at the checkout counter.
You put on fresh sunscreen just to go check the mail box.
Some fools will market mini-misters for joggers and some other fools will actually buy them. Worse.....some fools actually try to jog.
You can say "Hohokam" and people don't think you're laughing funny
You see more irrigation water on the street than there is in the Salt River
You can pronounce "Saguaro", "Tempe", "San Xavier", "Canyon de Chelly", "Mogollon Rim", and "Cholla"
You can understand the reason for a town named "Why"
You can fry an egg on the hood of a car IN THE MORNING!
You hear people say "but it's a DRY heat!" *and want to kill them*
You make salsa by the gallon.
Your Christmas decorations include sand and l00 paper bags.
You think a red light is merely a suggestion.
All of your out-of-state friends start to visit after October but clear out come the end of April.
You think someone driving wearing oven mitts is clever.
Most of the restaurants in town have the first name "El" or "Los."
You think 60 tons of crushed red rock makes a beautiful yard.
Your house is made of stucco and has a red clay tile roof.
Vehicles with open windows have the right-of-way in the summer.
Most homes have more firearms than people.
People who have black cars or black upholstery in their car are automatically assumed to be from out of-state or nuts.
You know better than to get into a car with leather seats if you're wearing shorts.
You can finish a Big Gulp in 10 minutes and go back for seconds.
You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Arizona |

| Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were. A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his/her day at the mall. When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must Have stung quite a bit. The complaint: 'Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base: Whom do we thank for the morning air show? Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 A.M, a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet. Imagine our good fortune! Do the Tom Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress the cashiers at Mervyns early bird special? Any response would be appreciated. The response: Regarding 'A wake-up call from Luke's jets' On June 15, at precisely 9:12 a.m., a perfectly timed four- ship fly by of F-1 6s from the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew over the grave of Capt. Jeremy Fresques. Capt Fresques was an Air Force officer who was previously stationed at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on May 30, Memorial Day. At 9 a. m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and friend. Based on the letter writer's recount of the fly by, and because of the jet noise, I'm sure you didn't hear the 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, or my words to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques as I gave them their son's flag on behalf of the President of the United States and all those veterans and servicemen and women who understand the sacrifices they have endured.. A four-ship fly by is a display of respect the Air Force gives to those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are professional aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15 what the letter writer witnessed was four officers lining up to pay their ultimate respects. The letter writer asks, 'Who m do we thank for the morning air show? The 56th Fighter Wing will make the call for you, and forward your thanks to the widow and parents of Capt Fresques, and thank them for you, for it was in their honor that my pilots flew the most honorable formation of their lives. Only 2 defining forces have ever offered to die for you.....Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom. Lt. Col.. Grant L. Rosensteel, Jr. |

TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO HE IS THE MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA SHERIFF AND HE KEEPS GETTING RE-ELECTED OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio (in Arizona) created the "tent city jail"
He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.
He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails and took away their weights. Cut off all but "G" movies. He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects. Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination. He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked up the cable TV again ... only let in the Disney and the weather channel. When asked why the weather channel he replied, "so they will know how hot it's gonna be when they are working on my chain gangs."
He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value. When the inmates complained, he told them, "This isn't the Ritz Carlton. If you don't like it, don't come back."
He bought the 'Newt Gingrich' lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.
With temperatures even hotter than usual in Phoenix (118 degrees just set a new record), Associated Press reports: About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded tent encampment at the Maricopa County Jail have been given permission to strip down to their government-issued pink boxer shorts. Hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunks or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 degrees inside the week before. Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat collected on their chests and dripped down to their pink socks. "It feels like we are in a furnace," said James Zanzot, an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 year.
Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic.
He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents too, and they have to wear full battle gear, but they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your damned mouths!"
Way to go, Sheriff! If all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they return-- to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves. Sheriff Joe was just re-elected in Maricopa County, Arizona |

Did you notice, when the American oil companies were changing from winter fuel to summer fuel that the prices went up extremely high ? Then, Opec said it was going to cut production, and the prices went even higher. But our poor old American oil companies reported record profits the last quarter. So who is doing the major fucking of the American people anyway? Diesel fuel is a by product of gas but in Kingman, it is ten cents higher than gas, and the bastards don't even provide Vaseline. That's my bitch for this fifteen minutes. You're a great teacher in bitching Runt. Bware |

Tucson Citizen Crime could get wounded with the adoption of the Right-to-Carry law in the old Midwest. Ohio legislators passed a law in January, and it was effective April 8th. According to FBI Uniform Crime Reports, violent crime rates are highest overall in states that don't have laws or have limited laws that permit carrying firearms for self-defense. The Marion Star Arizona has no self-defense statute. We need a Self-Defense Statute or a Make My Day Law, if you prefer. This protects an individual from criminal charges if they are required to use deadly force in their home in self-defense against an unknown assailant. Currently, it is your responsibility to prove that you acted as a rational individual. A Self-Defense Statute would put the burden of proof on the State. The State would have to show that you did not act responsibly or rationally, if you were forced to act against an unknown intruder. The Runt |
